Overview of the Position
Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority has a full-time opening in our Engineering Department. We will be hiring either an Engineering Technician I or Engineering Technician II. The focus of this position is to provide technical support to the Authority in the inspection, construction, and record-keeping of the sanitary sewer system. The position will report to the Supervising Engineering Technician III. The position will require little to no supervision of other employees.

NOTICE OF JOB OPENING - Utility 1 Worker
 
The City of Riddle is seeking applicants for a Utility 1 Worker. This is an entry level position with great opportunity to move up. The applicant will perform semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of city/park buildings, grounds and operation of Public Works structures and facilities: does related work as required. Will be required to learn basic treatment plant(s) operations. Work as a crew member on street, water and sewer projects; operates treatment plants as a backup to operators; may work independently on selected jobs. Riddle is a small city with a population of around 1,000. The PW & Treatment Ops Departments consist of 5 total employees. Its city is surrounded by multiple timber industries serviced by its WTP/Distribution system. The Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plants are uniquely  encompassed within walking distance to each other. The treatment plants have been recently upgraded with up to date technology and run at high levels of finished product.
 
Within the City parameters PW keep its streets, parks, and other infrastructure(s) in great repair. New projects, big and small are always happening, some of which the PW crew does in-house or  helps contractors with water/sewer construction.

​NOTICE of JOB OPENING - Utility II/Relief Operator
 
The City of Riddle is seeking a Utility II/Relief Operator. This position requires an experienced WWTP Operator with a minimum valid WWT/1 Oregon certification. This position will primarily work within the newer WWTP facilities  and be required to work a weekend day. Some time worked will also be at the WTP facility (after training) and other utility operations as needed. A successful candidate will have a general knowledge and skills to operate modern updated treatment plant(s) and its practices with ability to operate  SCADA/PLC.
